Commands glossary — StageHand

A quick reference for StageHand slash commands. Each line is command — what it does.

What you might not see

  • Most servers — quests, lore, dice, scenes, tickets, sync, and the rest of the list below.

  • Every server/hiatus and /mia (when your community uses those features).

  • Some servers only/courtcounts and certain admin tools (submissions-focused communities).

  • RAG-enabled servers only/rag and /rag-summary. Asking the lore assistant uses your server’s configured channel or mention flow; there is no /rag ask slash command.

  • Bot owner home server only/status and some /admin commands.

  • Right-click menusRefresh on bot posts (lore, dice, scene buttons, forms) and Edit Bot Message for staff.

Top-level commands

  • /help — Show available commands and their descriptions

  • /r — Roll dice (works in DMs and servers). Supports multiple dice: '1d20 1d4 2d6'

  • /remind — Set a reminder: I'll DM you (or post in this channel) at the specified time.

  • /timezone — Set or view your default timezone for reminders (e.g. America/New_York).

/quest — Quest management commands

  • /quest start — Roll a quest hook here (Accept/Skip up to 3 times).

  • /quest current — Show your current quest reservations (if any).

  • /quest my_quests — Show all your claimed/active quests.

  • /quest completed — Mark a quest as completed.

  • /quest add — Add a new quest (admin only).

  • /quest edit — Edit an existing quest (admin only).

  • /quest remove — Remove a quest (admin only).

  • /quest list — List all quests and their status (admin only).

  • /quest claimed — Show all claimed quests in progress (admin only).

  • /quest list_completed — List completed quests with pagination (admin only).

  • /quest logging — Set the quest logging channel (admin only).

  • /quest max_quests — Set the maximum number of active quests per user (admin only).

/character — Character search and configuration

  • /character add — Add a forum to character search (admin only)

  • /character remove — Remove a forum from character search (admin only)

  • /character list — List forums used for character search (admin only)

  • /character search — Find a character by name.

/index — Manage forum indexes

  • /index add — Add a forum to index

  • /index set-tag — Set or clear the tag applied when creating the index thread (for forums that require a tag)

  • /index refresh — Refresh one or all indexes

  • /index list — List all configured indexes

  • /index group-forums — Manage forums in a group index

  • /index remove — Remove an index configuration

  • /index edit — Edit an existing index configuration

  • /index group — Create a group index that combines multiple forums

  • /index layered — Create a layered index (main tags -> roles -> sub sections) from multiple forums

/move — Move or copy content between forums, channels, and servers

  • /move tags — Copy all tags from one forum to another.

  • /move server — Move thread contents to another server, preserving multimuse webhook messages.

  • /move copy — Copy thread or channel messages to another thread or channel, preserving multimuse webhook messages.

/sync — Cross-server chat sync (pairs two channels; MultiMuse uses the same store)

  • /sync pair add — Pair this server's channel with another (paste ID or discord link for the other server).

  • /sync pair remove — Remove the sync pair that includes this channel.

  • /sync pair remove_by_id — Remove a sync pair by its numeric id (see /sync pair list).

  • /sync pair list — List all configured sync pairs.

  • /sync label set — Set the short name appended to mirror webhook usernames (e.g. Name · YourLabel).

  • /sync label clear — Use the Discord server name again as the origin tag on mirrored posts.

  • /sync label show — Show which origin tag is used for this server's mirrored messages.

/challenge — Dice challenge management commands

  • /challenge adjust — Manually adjust a character's challenge record

  • /challenge view — View a character's challenge record

  • /challenge reset — Reset a character's challenge record to zero

  • /challenge set_channel — Configure challenge channels for this server

  • /challenge configure_message — Configure the format of challenge result messages

/lore — Lore carousel commands

  • /lore create — Create a new lore carousel in this channel

  • /lore add — Add a page to the carousel in this channel

  • /lore restore — Restore/re-register lore carousel + panel views in this server (fixes broken buttons)

  • /lore panel — Post or refresh dashboard lore panels. Pick a channel for one copy, or omit to refresh all copies.

  • /lore remove — Remove a lore carousel from the server

  • /lore fix-images — Fix image URLs for all carousels in this server (migrates to proxy URLs)

  • /lore recover-images — Try to recover broken image URLs from original Discord messages

  • /lore post — Post a copy of a carousel to another channel or thread (pick source by internal ID)

  • /lore selector create — Create a carousel selector (button bar for multiple ephemeral carousels)

/bot — Manage bot customization settings for this server

  • /bot nickname — Set or reset the bot's nickname for this server

  • /bot avatar — Set the bot's guild avatar for this server

/logging — Configure in-channel logging for StageHand (log channel and toggles).

  • /logging channel — Set or clear the log channel (required for logging).

  • /logging setup — Open the logging setup view (channel, modules, events).

/scene — Scene management commands

  • /scene open — Open a new scene thread in a forum or text channel

  • /scene end — End a scene by posting the configured end message

  • /scene button — Post a button that opens a guided scene-open wizard (admin only)

  • /scene setup — Configure scene commands (admin only)

  • /scene edit tags — Change tags on this thread (bot-created threads only)

  • /scene edit title — Change this thread's name (prefilled with current title)

  • /scene edit header — Edit the first post of this thread (e.g. scene date, TWs)

/ticker — Automated rotating posts — quotes, lore drops, daily vibes, and more

  • /ticker feed create — Add another ticker with its own name, channel, and lines

  • /ticker feed delete — Remove a ticker you no longer need

  • /ticker feed list — See all your tickers at a glance

  • /ticker channel — Choose where this ticker posts

  • /ticker add — Add another line to the rotation

  • /ticker remove — Remove a line by its number

  • /ticker list — Show your saved lines (short preview)

  • /ticker time — When to post each day (uses StageHand's clock on this server)

  • /ticker schedule — Once a day, or on a repeating hourly rhythm

  • /ticker mode — Pick lines at random or cycle through everyone before repeating

  • /ticker header — Optional bold title above each post

  • /ticker date — Show a date under the post and in {date} placeholders

  • /ticker enable — Start sending posts on the schedule

  • /ticker disable — Pause scheduled posts

  • /ticker embed — Post as a styled embed or plain text

  • /ticker preview — Send one line now to check formatting

  • /ticker status — See what's set up for one ticker or all of them

/form — Form workflow management (create forms, set destination, post buttons)

  • /form setup — Open the form builder (create, configure, and post forms)

  • /form create — Create a new form workflow (or use /form setup)

  • /form set-destination — Set where submissions are posted

  • /form add-flow — Add a flow (e.g. 'men' or 'women') to the form

  • /form add-step — Add a step (modal) to a flow. JSON: title, prompt, fields[] (key, label, required).

  • /form add-button — Add a button to the form message

  • /form set-output — Set how submission body is formatted. JSON: sections with title and fields (keys).

  • /form set-index — Enable/disable or rename the submissions index thread

  • /form post — Post the form button message to a channel, thread, or forum

  • /form list — List form workflows in this server

  • /form show — Show form workflow configuration (JSON)

  • /form delete — Delete a form workflow (does not remove posted messages)

/dice — Dice rolling and preset management

  • /dice clear_personal_dice — Clear your personal dice sets (works in DMs)

  • /dice restore_buttons — Manually restore dice buttons for this server

  • /dice toggle_setup_messages — Toggle verbose ephemeral messages during button setup (reduces spam)

  • /dice button_status — Check status of dice buttons for this server

  • /dice set_channel — Set the channel where dice results are sent

  • /dice setup — Setup dice presets (admin only)

  • /dice post preset — Post preset buttons to a channel or thread

  • /dice post adhoc — Post dice buttons without a preset (for one-off events)

  • /dice post automation — Set up a button that opens a modal and creates a forum thread with dice preset

/export and /import — Data backup

  • /export dice — Export dice presets as a JSON file (single preset or all)

  • /import dice — Import dice presets from a JSON file (from /export dice)

  • /export quests — Export quest definitions and max active quests as a JSON file

  • /import quests — Import quest definitions from a JSON file (from /export quests)

  • /export scene — Export scene config (end/open, time-of-day presets) as a JSON file

  • /import scene — Import scene config from a JSON file (from /export scene)

/ifttt — IFTTT automation configuration commands

  • /ifttt add — Add a new automation rule (supports single or multi-role triggers)

  • /ifttt list — List all automation rules

  • /ifttt edit — Edit an existing automation rule (only provided fields are changed)

  • /ifttt remove — Remove an automation rule

  • /ifttt toggle — Enable or disable an automation rule

  • /ifttt logchannel — Set the channel for logging automation actions

  • /ifttt thread add — Watch a forum for new threads; post link in another forum (as new thread) or in a channel

  • /ifttt thread edit — Edit a thread watcher (only provided fields are changed)

  • /ifttt thread remove — Remove a thread watcher

  • /ifttt thread toggle — Enable or disable a thread watcher

  • /ifttt reminders add — Send a reminder to a channel when a rule triggers (use {user} in message).

  • /ifttt reminders list — List reminders for a rule (and roles that cancel pending reminders)

  • /ifttt reminders remove — Remove a reminder from a rule

  • /ifttt reminders edit — Edit a reminder

  • /ifttt reminders cancel_roles — Set, clear, or view roles that cancel pending channel reminders before they fire

/ifttt customcmd — Per-guild slash namespace for Advanced IFTTT

  • /ifttt customcmd setup — Set this server's custom slash namespace (e.g. scorcheddawn)

  • /ifttt customcmd add — Add a custom subcommand under this server's namespace

  • /ifttt customcmd remove — Remove a custom subcommand from this server's namespace

  • /ifttt customcmd list — List this server's custom slash commands and matching flows

/hiatus — Register a hiatus with a guided form (no separate channel post)

  • /hiatus submit — Open a short form to log your hiatus

  • /hiatus post_wizard_panel — Post a button that opens the hiatus form (Manage Server)

  • /hiatus list — List hiatus rows for this server (per-guild store; moderators).

  • /testhiatusdm — Test hiatus DM functionality (admin only)

/mia — MIA (inactive) tools for moderators

  • /mia list — List players flagged MIA for this server (per-guild store).

  • /mia refresh — Re-run the inactivity sweep for this server (backfill MIA flags from member activity).

  • /mia check — Look up one member's MIA / activity status (ephemeral embed).

/mailbox — Character mailboxes index (admin)

  • /mailbox set channel — Create or set the mailbox index (forum or text channel)

  • /mailbox add — Add a mailbox for a character (admin)

  • /mailbox purge_user — Remove every mailbox this member created (user button / onboarding); use ID if they left

  • /mailbox remove — Remove a mailbox by character, or remove the index from tracking

  • /mailbox repost — Recreate mailbox index messages from config (e.g. after migration).

  • /mailbox button — Post a button that lets users add their own mailbox

/ticket — Configure and manage support tickets.

  • /ticket category — Category where new ticket channels are created.

  • /ticket close — Close this ticket and post the transcript (staff).

  • /ticket archive — Dedicated channel for transcripts (ignored when use-log-for-archive is on).

  • /ticket use-log-for-archive — Post closed ticket transcripts to the /logging channel (one place for logs + transcripts).

  • /ticket support-role — Add or remove a staff role that can see and close tickets.

  • /ticket preset-create — Create a new ticket preset (intake flow).

  • /ticket preset-delete — Delete a ticket preset (must not be on any panel).

  • /ticket preset-list — List ticket presets.

  • /ticket preset-ping — Set or clear the role pinged when a ticket opens (per preset).

  • /ticket preset-category — Override category for one preset (omit to use server default /ticket category).

  • /ticket step-add — Add an intake step to a preset (modal or SELECT_*).

  • /ticket step-remove — Remove an intake step from a preset (1-based index).

  • /ticket steps-reset — Reset a preset's intake to the default template.

  • /ticket panel — Post a ticket panel with one or more preset buttons.

  • /ticket panel-remove — Remove a panel from config (does not delete the Discord message).

  • /ticket max-per-user — Max simultaneous open tickets per user (default 1).

  • /ticket status — Show current ticket configuration.

/verification — Configure join verification (DM captcha) for this server

  • /verification toggle — Turn join verification on or off

  • /verification role — Set the role to give when a member verifies

  • /verification status — Show current verification settings

  • /verification resend — Resend verification DM to one member, or all pending members

Context menus

Right-click a message, then Apps:

  • Edit Bot Message — Edit a bot-owned post (staff).

  • Refresh — Update a bot post from the latest dashboard settings (lore carousels/panels, dice buttons, scene buttons, form workflows).
